Andrew Renton took his first public steps in 21 years at our Conference yesterday (September 2) after falling in Glen Coe while mountaineering in 1994, which left him with a severe brain injury.
“It’s always been my goal to walk,” Andrew tells the EADT, “and this is the furthest I have walked since my accident. Hopefully I will be able to move without the frame in the future – that’s the ultimate goal.”
