Get Cycling for Headway around Suffolk!

Headway Suffolk’s annual Sponsored Cycle Ride enters its eighth year in 2016 having incredibly raised over £30,000 since its inaugural event in 2009!

The charity, which supports local people with an acquired brain injury or a neurological condition, hosts the cycling fundraiser on Saturday 23 April at 9.00am, which starts and finishes at the Ipswich Hub at Epsilon House on Ransomes Europark in Ipswich.

The 28 mile circular route repeats last year’s course, which takes in Bucklesham and seaside town Felixstowe along the East Suffolk coast, with cyclists given the option of an additional 10 mile loop past Newbourne.

It is open to individuals, families, groups and corporates.  It is an ideal team building exercise for companies with a Headway Trophy presented at our Awards Ball to the team that raises the most sponsorship, which last year was won by Seven Group.

Seven GroupAshton KCJScrutton BlandRyan’sGetech, and 2016 sponsor Gotelee are some of the local businesses that have taken part in recent years.

Headway Suffolk CEO Helen Fairweather said: “The bike ride is great fun and helps to raise much needed funds for Headway Suffolk.”

It’s £10 to participate unless you have sponorship.  Register your interest by telephoning Helen on 01473 712225 or email: [email protected].
