Christmas Raffle Tickets On Sale!

A host of Suffolk businesses have generously supported brain injury charity Headway Suffolk’s Christmas raffle by donating some great prizes.

Tickets to Ipswich Town FC and Newmarket Races; afternoon tea and wine tasting at Hintlesham Hall and Chilford Hall respectively; and a family day at museums the East Anglian Life and Ipswich Transport are just a few of the 20 prizes up for grabs.

Tickets, priced at 50p each or £2.50 for a book of five, can be obtained at Headway’s hubs in Ipswich at Epsilon House on the Ransomes Europark and in Bury St Edmunds at St Georges House in Olding Road.

They will also be on sale at our Awards Ball at Seckford Golf Club on November 12 and on Headway’s stall outside Holland and Barrett at the Christmas lights switch-on in Bury St Edmunds on November 17.

Those wishing to purchase by debit or credit card can do so securely online  at: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fund/headwaychristmasraffle. The full list of prizes is also available at the link.

Other prizes include a goody bag of six Suffolk Cyder products from Aspall; a large Adnams Christmas pudding; tickets to a New Wolsey Theatre show; £30 voucher to spend at The Brewery Tap on Ipswich’s waterfront; and Tesco stores have also donated a variety of items.

David Crane, the charity’s Communications and Marketing Officer, said: “It’s heart-warming to see the response from companies over Suffolk willing to support our work locally.

“Fundraising is integral to raising awareness of our cause and meeting the costs of our wide-ranging services, and a Christmas raffle is always generously supported by our followers.

“Suffolk is full of vibrant and varied businesses, and it’s great that a number of them have generously and kindly supported our cause with gifts of events, days out, products and vouchers.”

The draw takes place at Headway’s Christmas party at Haughley Park Barn on December 13.
