Clients, staff and trustees at Headway Suffolk will be non-stop drumming from 7am – 7pm on Monday 30 October for the charity’s Sponsored 12-Hour Drumathon!
The event is to raise awareness of the charity’s services and raise funds towards for its clinical therapist team.
Helen Fairweather, CEO of Headway Suffolk, said: “As a charity we have to raise as much money as we can to keep things running because we’re under-funded.
“We recently had a new member of staff come to work for us from Zimbabwe and he’s a drummer and he’s really changed what we do.
“He’s very energetic so the staff and the clients are very into drumming at the moment so that felt like an ideal opportunity to do this drumathon.”
