We are launching our ‘Keep Warm This Winter at Headway Suffolk’ campaign with a mission to create Warm Hub Spaces across the county to help us reach more people who need our support.
The Warm Hub Spaces enable us to expand our services and help more people who are isolated and need our support and have a safe, warm and stimulating place to go during winter and beyond.
In October, we successfully launched a Warm Hub Space in Hadleigh once a week on Fridays and have plans to open more, but we need funding support to make this happen.
We have identified a need for Warm Hub Spaces in Newmarket, Sudbury and Haverhill to help the community in those towns who are isolated and cannot reach our Ipswich or Bury hubs due to a lack of suitable public transport and high taxi travel costs.
To enable us to meet the cost of skilled staffing, suitable premises and resources, we are appealing for support through with our Keep Warm This Winter project through this Crowdfunding appeal:
